TRUMPED: An Alternative Musical Announces Changes to Production Team

It is with regret that the producers of TRUMPED: An Alternative Musical, currently due to premiere Off-Broadway in 2019, announce the removal of associate producers, Josh Lander, and Flora Fox, from the show’s production team.
Commenting on the removal of Lander and Fox, the show’s writer and producer, Ben Fletcher, said, “Theatre is and always will be a wonderful but difficult industry to be a part of — what matters above all else to achieve success and overcome the challenges that any project may face is a strong bond between all on a team. Unfortunately, on this occasion we decided jointly that it would be best for all involved if they were to no longer to take an active role within the production.”
Fletcher added, “One of my aims with TRUMPED is to use new, fresh and exciting talent in order to add a unique approach to the production, and despite this current setback, I remain confident that this is the right approach to take and I look forward to getting out there and exploring just what new talent has to offer.”
In addition to their removal as associate producers, Lander and Fox are also no longer set to join the show’s original Off-Broadway company next year. Details of their replacements will be announced in due course.
